Solutions

Built for the work your shop sells.

Tint, film, coating and wraps are not sold the same way. ShopHawk prices, cuts, times and records each one the way that work really runs, and every job still lands on one work order.

01 · Window Tint

Tint is priced by the variation, not by the panel.

Full Car, Front 2, Back 2, Back 4. The variation goes on the work order as one line, and the shade you fitted is recorded on every panel under it.

  • Your own price and expected duration on each variation
  • A shade on every panel, from the eight on offer
  • Brand and Roll ID on the record
  • The warranty term comes off the film you used

02 · Paint Protection

Film is sold by coverage, and cut from a roll.

A PPF job needs two records that often go missing: the coverage the customer bought, and how much film came off which roll. ShopHawk keeps both on the job.

  • The PPF task carries Coverage and Finish
  • One Inventory Usage row holds the Roll ID, the Usage and the Waste
  • Film leaves inventory at Job Done
  • The warranty is created at Job Done, with the term from the film

03 · Ceramic Coating

The coating is the last two hours.

A customer buys a bottle and a name. What they really pay for is a day of correction they never see. ShopHawk times each step as its own task.

  • Each step is its own task, with its own timer
  • Every mL logged, car part by car part
  • The usage and the waste come off the bottle at Job Done
  • A Vehicle Curing status on the job

04 · Detailing & Wraps

Four days, four techs, one order.

Detailing and wrap work does not fit in a slot. It runs across days, changes hands, and every task has its own timer. ShopHawk keeps it as one work order instead of five loose jobs.

  • Actual minutes logged per task, not per job
  • Each assignee signs at Complete
  • A price and a duration on each variation, from Gloss to Chrome
  • Failure Reason and Reworks on the task that went back

Whatever you sell

Four trades, one work order.

Each service keeps its own way of pricing and recording. These four parts of the job work the same way for all of them.

01A price from your own list

Each variation carries the price and the expected duration you set once. The technician picks it, and both come with it.

02A timer on every task

Each task runs from Start to Complete. Actual minutes are logged per task, not per job, and leave out paused time.

03Material off the right roll

One Inventory Usage row holds the Roll ID, the Usage and the Waste. At Job Done, both come off the roll or the bottle.

04An invoice built from the job

The invoice is built from the job, not retyped. A deposit nets off as its own line, so the customer can see it.
